You can connect the free AI Assistant to your Instagram business account. Start generating sales on autopilot and provide a seamless customer support experience. It’s an easy way to optimize support, increase customer satisfaction, boost sales and revenue.
Prerequisites
1. The integration only works with Instagram Business accounts. You can switch to a business account by going to Instagram Settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account. Learn more.
2. The Instagram Business account has to be connected to your Facebook page. You can do that by going to your Facebook page > Settings > Instagram > Connect Account. Learn more.
Integrate with Instagram Business and Facebook page
Follow these instructions to set up the integration (you must be a Facebook page admin):
1. Sign in to the Eddy AI app dashboard.
If you don’t have a Partner ID, sign up here: eddyai.com
2. Find the “Installation“ > “Facebook Messenger & Instagram Integrations“ section and click on the ”Configure” button.
3. In the Facebook configuration window, click “Continue as (your name)”.
4. Select your Instagram Business account(s) and click “Next”.
5. Select your Facebook page(s) and click “Next“.
6. Keep the required permissions and click “Done”.
7. Once the apps have finished linking, click “Ok”.
8. Send your Instagram Business account a message using your personal account. You can say “Hi”, and the assistant should respond immediately.
Troubleshooting

Go to the Instagram mobile app and follow the following steps to grant permissions:
- Step 1. Click “Settings.”
- Step 2. Click “Privacy.”
- Step 3. Click “Messages.”
- Step 4.a. Scroll down to “Connected Tools.”
- Step 4.b. Click the toggle to “Allow access to Messages.”
